Two dead after balcony collapses in London

A further six people were injured.

AT LEAST TWO men have died and a further six people are injured after a balcony collapsed in west London.

The incident happened in Cadogan Square in Knightsbridge just before 10am.

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) initially said that one man died at the scene, but later confirmed a second man died in hospital.

Scotland Yard said the deceased are believed to have been workmen.

Greg Hands, the Conservative MP for Chelsea and Fulham, said he had been told that the men were moving a couch when the accident took place.
