It’s a pity though that the same coverage is not there for the Paralympics as for the Olympics cause I think people would really get behind it and tune in and watch supporting the Irish athletes- showing coverage live on tv would have been a good idea and I believe an opportunity missed people won’t really tune into the highlights for an hour- but If it is was on tv live people would watch

I really hope it might make people respect people with disabilities more. I went shopping with a buddy who has cerebral palsy last week, I went though the heavy fire door to the shopping centre loos first, intending to hold it open for my friend and loads of people raced in past her like it was a fecking race and knocked her sideways.

Nice to see channel 4 give a little bit more acknowledgement to the Irish team than bbc did.

Oh and looking forward to seeing Michael Owen in the dressage.

These olympics are very difficult to understand, with various levels of disabilities. Never mind the rich countries having more expensive equipment giving them winning advantages.
