Police appeal for information on Lu Na McKinney following death on Devenish Island

Lu Na McKinney died at Devenish Island on Thursday 13 April this year.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have issued a photo of a Donegal woman, who died during a trip to Fermanagh, in the hope that people will come forward with information about her.

Lu Na McKinney, from Convoy, Donegal, died at Devenish Island on Thursday 13 April this year.

Her husband Stephen McKinney appeared in court earlier this month charged with her murder, which he denies.

The PSNI issued a photo of McKinney last night as it appealed to the public for information about her.

Detective Inspector David McGrory said: “I would like to hear from anyone who knew her or anyone who had contact with Mrs McKinney, in the months preceding her death.”

An Garda Síochána are working jointly with the PSNI to investigate McKinney’s death.

Anyone with information can contact the PSNI on 04890 650 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Alternatively, people in the Republic of Ireland can contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 916 7100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
