Caption competition: What's John Major saying to Enda, as they lurk on the Albert Hall balcony?

‘Nice view’ … ‘Thanks, I had my hair done specially’.

PRESIDENT HIGGINS AND his entourage have been taking their seats at the Albert Hall this evening, as the historic State visit to Britain continues.

Glen Hansard, The Gloaming and Imelda May are amongst the performers who’ll be taking the stage to perform for the President, Princess Michael of Kent, and the other various invited guests.

Up on the balcony, Taoiseach Enda Kenny’s been having a big of a chinwag with former British PM John Major.

Now, maybe it’s just us and our Muppet-obsessed ways — but does the above image remind anyone else of the curmudgeonly Statler and Waldorf, from said show?

Either way, let’s hope the politicians are a little more diplomatic with their opinions.

So — back to that caption competition anyway… What do you reckon Major and Kenny are saying to each other?

As always, keep it clean…
