Men arrested over Ciarán Noonan murder released

Two men arrested recently in connection with Noonan’s death have been released from custody.

TWO MEN who were arrested in Co Dublin this week in connection with the murder of Ciarán Noonan have been released without charge.

Eyewitnesses claim to have seen Noonan, 29, being assaulted and forced into a car at Dublin’s East Wall on 20 October.

After extensive appeals by his family and gardaí for information about his whereabouts, his remains were discovered in a field in Co Meath in early November.

One man, aged in his 30s, who was arrested in west Dublin on Thursday was released from custody last night.

Another man who was arrested yesterday was being held at Store Street Garda Station and was released today. This man, aged in his 20s, was the seventh person to be arrested in connection with the death.
