GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE fatal stabbing of a Wexford man at his home in January have arrested a man in connection with the killing.
The man, who is in his mid 20s, is being held in connection with the death of Jason Ryan on 25 January. He is expected to appear before a special sitting of Gorey District Court at 8.30pm this evening charged in connection with the investigation.
Jason Ryan answered the door to a caller at his home in Hollyville Heights at around midnight on the night of 25 January and became involved in an altercation with the male visitor, during which he was stabbed.
He was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he died from his injuries a short time later.
