Man arrested over Pallasgreen aggravated burglary

Three siblings were attack and tied up in their home last Thursday night during raid by two men armed with knives.

ONE MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the aggravated burglary on the home of three elderly siblings in Co Limerick last week.

During the incident, two masked men armed with knives forced their way into the house and stole a quantity of cash from the premises.

Two women aged in their 60s and a man in his 70s were assaulted and tied up in their home in Pallasgreen on the night of 31 May. They raised the alarm when they managed to free themselves over two hours after the attack.

Today, a man in his late 20s was arrested in Co Tipperary in connection with the aggravated burglary. He is being held at Bruff Garda Station for questioning.
