Man charged with rape, child sexual grooming and trafficking offences in Armagh

A 25-year-old man will appear in court this morning charged in connection with multiple sexual offences.

POLICE IN ARMAGH have charged a 25-year-old man with rape, child sexual grooming and trafficking within the UK for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

The man was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of meeting a child following sexual grooming, two counts of sexual activity with a child between 13 and 16 years and trafficking within the UK for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

He is expected to appear before Armagh Magistrates Court this morning.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
