Man held in van after being robbed while walking home from work in Dublin

Gardaí found the man when they stopped and searched a van on main street in Finglas at around 1.40 this morning.

A 32-YEAR-OLD MAN was ordered to get in a van after being robbed in Finglas as he walked home from work.

Gardaí found the man being held against his will when they stopped and searched a van on main street in Finglas at around 1.40 this morning. Two other men who were in the van at the time have been arrested.

The man had his mobile phone and wallet taken when confronted by the two men before they ordered him into the van.

The two men, both in their 20s, were arrested at the scene and are currently being held at Finglas Garda Station.

The wallet and phone belonging to the man have been recovered. The van was seized for a forensic examination.

Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing and further updates will follow.
