Sounds like they weren’t much of a deterrent if large brawls ensued in their presence Ted.

After the rally large groups of boy racers make their way out to Rossaveal for meet-ups on the pier. From midnight onwards you can see upwards of 75 cars making their way back. The large open areas on the pier and the total lack of Garda interest make it a perfect spot.I live in the area.

Local media are saying there were around 100 cars in the area at the time so it’s quiet possibly it was rally related.

You know there is more than 1 station in Galway! 13 have been closed around the county.
