AS THE BODY of Nelson Mandela lies in state for the third and final day ahead of his funeral on Sunday, a more permanent tribute to the founding father of the ‘Rainbow Nation’ is raised in Pretoria.

The giant statue of the former South Africa president, referred to affectionately as Madiba, will stand in front of the Union buildings.
