McLaughlin arrested on suspicion of murder of Barry McCrory

Following an appeal by the PSNI to locate Kieran McLaughlin, he was arrested last night.

A MAN WHO the Police in Northern Ireland were trying to locate was arrested on suspicion of murder of Barry McCrory.

Kieran McLaughlin, aged 58-years-old, was arrested in the Derry area last night.

Fatal shooting

Barry McCrory was shot dead in his flat last Thursday in the Shipquay area of the city.

Last week, the PSNI officers took the unusual step of releasing a photo of McLaughlin, warning the public not to approach him.

There were unconfirmed sightings of him last week, but a PSNI spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that they were not certain that he was still in Derry.
