Skerries accused to appear in court

A man in his late 20s will appear before a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon.

THE MAN ACCUSED of the murder of a man in Skerries on Thursday evening will appear before a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice today.

The man, in his late 20s, is accused of stabbing Michael Gannon as he babysat his grandchildren at his daughter’s home in Mourne Park in the coastal Dublin town.

He will appear before the CCJ at 4.30pm.

Mr Gannon is believed to have been stabbed once in the chest.
