Man to appear in court in relation to the death of Michael O'Dwyer

The 32-year-old was arrested in connection with the death of Kilkenny man.

A MAN IS due to appear at a special sitting of Waterford District Court today today charged in relation to the death of 25-year-old Michael O’Dwyer in Waterford.

The 32-year-old was arrested in connection with the death of Kilkenny man who was found seriously injured after gardaí were called to a house at Seafield Holiday Cottages at around 11.30pm on Thursday night.

O’Dwyer was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Waterford Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination was carried out at Waterford Regional Hospital yesterday and a family liaison officer has been appointed.
