Poll: Would Miriam have made a better host than Tubridy?

Miriam O’Callaghan recalled yesterday how she had come close to landing the Late Late Show presenter’s job.

YESTERDAY, POPULAR BROADCASTER Miriam O’Callaghan told the Anton Savage Show on Today FM that she felt she had come close to landing the Late Late Show presenter’s job when Pat Kenny relinquished the reins in 2009.

Ryan Tubridy took over then, and is still firmly ensconced in the presenter’s chair now.

But would Miriam have been a better choice? Tubridy often polarises viewers as to his merits, would the affable O’Callaghan have done a better job?

We’re asking: Should Miriam have gotten the Late Late job?

Poll Results:

Yes, definitely (4534)
No - Tubridy is doing a great job (2964)
I couldn't say (2312)
It should have been Brendan O'Connor (1762)
