Motorcyclist killed in Meath crash

A man aged in his early 20s has died following a crash in Co Meath.

A MOTORCYCLIST HAS died following a single vehicle crash in Co Meath.

The man, aged in his early 20s, was seriously injured when his bike crashed on the R165 at Drumconrath at approximately 6.30pm. He was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogehda, where he was later pronounced dead.

The road was closed for a technical examination by forensic collision investigators. The road has since re-opened
