Motorists warned over road closures in Swords on Sunday

A number of roads in Swords will be closed on a rolling basis from 6am to 12.00 noon due to the Fingal 10k Road Race.

DUBLIN MOTORISTS HAVE been advised of rolling road closures in the Swords area on Sunday due to the Fingal 10k Road Race, which is taking place in conjunction with the Dublin Race Series.

Fingal County Council have warned that the following roads will be closed between 6 am to 12 noon on Sunday:

  • Main Street
  • Dublin Road
  • Swords bypass
  • Seatown Road
  • North Street
  • Bridge Street
  • Watery Lane
  • Balheary Road
  • South Bank
  • Applewood Main Street
  • Thornleigh Avenue
  • Thornleigh Road
  • Brides Glen Park
  • Ardcian park
  • St Cronins Avenue
  • Brackenstown Road
  • Church Road

All road users have been asked to follow diversion signs and directions from the Gardaí.
