Naked man scales London statue

The man managed to climb to the top of the statue of Prince George and remove his clothes, leading to police closing off part of the street.

POLICE IN WHITEHALL, London, have shut down part of a street after a naked man scaled a statue of Prince George, the Duke of Cambridge.

Sky News said that part of the street near the Ministry of Defence building was closed off after police received reports of the naked man climbing up onto the large statue and removing his clothes.

The BBC said the man had snapped off part of the statue and thrown it to the ground.

Latest reports say the man has come down from the statue, but it is not known why he scaled it in the first place.
