A NEW VIDEO released by Tourism Ireland today aims to bring viewers on a tour of “Ireland’s more glamorous side”.

Tourism Ireland said the video showcased ”horticultural beauty to architectural grace”, and was created “to encourage potential visitors to come and discover these fantastic places for themselves”.

The video features Powerscourt estate and gardens, Leslie Castle, Kylemore Abbey, Glenveagh Castle, Mount Stewart, Belvedere House, Kilkenny Castle, Crom Castle, Ashford Castle and Bantry House.

Fáilte Ireland recently published figures that show 41% of Ireland’s tourists are from Britain; 36% are from mainland Europe; and 17% are from the US.

Around 10.3 million people visited the island of Ireland last year, delivering revenue of about €5.3 billion.
