Brooklyn artist Ariana Page Russell was born with an illness that makes her skin red and swollen when it’s touched (or when anything happens to it at all, really). At first ashamed by it, she instead decided to begin taking photographs of her own skin, creating an artwork of her own body, and inspiring other people with the same condition to do likewise – and there’s something weirdly compelling about the ensuing pictures.
