By now, we’ve all heard of the term ‘Fake News’ but today there were thousands of people hoping that there could be a sliver of truth in what seemed to be a highly- unlikely news story.

The DailyEdge reports that the City of the Tribes was wrapped up in the rumour that Oscar-winning actor Leonardo Di Caprio was moving to Galway thanks to a story which went viral.

The only problem is that the website in question openly admits that it’s a satirical and fantasy website.

So Di Caprio coming to Galway? In your dreams.
