GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED two men at Shannon Airport who ingested 100 pellets of cocaine.
The drugs have an estimated street value of €60,000.
The pair, both Irish and in their 40s, were questioned by gardaí after Revenue sniffer dog Ollie alerted officials to the men during a routine operation.
The incident occurred earlier this week after the Bank Holiday weekend after the two men returned from Spain.
The drugs were passed under medical supervision.
Investigations are ongoing.
