THE PSNI IS investigating a pipe bomb attack on the Orange Hall on Legananny Road in Ballyward, Co Down over the weekend. Police say that the incident occurred at some point between Friday evening and yesterday. A pipe bomb is believed to have caused minor scorch damage to the front door of the hall and investigators discovered an unbroken bottle with cloth inside nearby. Police in Banbridge are appealing to anybody who may have any information about the incident to contact them or the independent charity Crimestoppers.
