Overturned truck blocks Limerick road

There were patches of black ice on the road last night when the truck overturned.

GARDAÍ ATTENDED  THE scene of an overturned truck on the N21 at Abbeyfeale Road in Limerick this morning.

AA Roadwatch warned of patches of black ice on the stretch of road last night after the truck overturned.

Gardaí said today that no one was injured in the incident but the truck was still blocking the road this morning until just before 10am.

The road has now been cleared.

AA Roadwatch urged drivers to take extreme care in the area.
