Body of missing man Padraic Sharkey found in Mayo

The 61-year-old’s remains were recovered from the river Moy today.

THE BODY OF missing Mayo man Padraic Sharkey was recovered on the banks of the River Moy in Ballina today.

Gardaí investigating the 61-year-old’s disappearance said his remains were found at about 12.35pm today.

He had not been seen since last Wednesday. He lived in Castlebar.

Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance in the search.
