A MAN WAS shot in his legs and arm during what is believed to be a paramilitary-style shooting last night.
Detectives in Foyle said they are appealing for information after the report of the shooting at residential premises at the Lisfannon Park area of Derry last night.
Shortly after 10.15pm, it was reported that a man in his 40s received three gunshot wounds to his legs and one to his arm.
The PSNI said it is believed the man was in the front room of a house in the area.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
