Man charged with murder of 61-year-old woman

The body of Pauline Carmichael was found on Wednesday.

A 37-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of a 61-year-old woman.

Pauline Carmichael was found dead on the shores of Lough Neagh on Wednesday, having gone missing on Monday night.

The man will appear in court in Coleraine today.

A 59 year old man, arrested in connection with the investigation was released unconditionally earlier this week.
