Permanent TSB says problem with debit cards should be fixed now
Customers have been unable to withdraw money from ATMS or use their cards to pay for things.

PERMANENT TSB HAS apologised to customers for a problem which affected debit cards and ATM services today.
A number of customers had taken to social media to complain that they had been unable to withdraw money from ATMs or to use their debit cards when paying for things.
It is not clear how many customers had been affected.
PTSB said the problem should be fixed now.
“All issues with cards are sorted now, sorry again for any inconvenience this may have caused you,” Permanent TSB tweeted.

Earlier it had tweeted that the issues were affecting ATM & POS [point of sale] transactions.
