  • Firstly, we dont actually know the content of the ‘letter’ that Walton has sent to the Taosieach, so we cannot really say that he has asked the Taoiseach for an apology.
Secondly, it has been rumoured that Walton is ‘angry’ over Cowen impersonating him in Galway. Walton did not actually say that he was ‘angry’…., yet, so we dont actually know this to be fact.
Thirdly, if the Taoiseach was impersonating me, I would not be ‘angry’ or ‘annoyed’…, like most people whom I know, I would be chuffed!
In most Sporting Clubs around Ireland, there are extremely good impersonators, whose, Party Piece, is taking off one, two or three easily recognisable people, normally, people associated with a Sport.
It is a Irish Hobby…., mimmicking sporting heros and famous people.

  • Good point – have clarified to ‘explanation’.
I think if it was me, I’d like to see the impersonation in person!
