Update: Nine stabbed at Phoenix Park concert

One man has been arrested as part of an investigation into nine stabbing incidents at the Swedish House Mafia concert.

Update 4.45pm

GARDAÍ NOW SAY that nine people were stabbed at the Swedish House Mafia concert in the Phoenix Park in Dublin last night.

They’re continuing to hold a man in connection with the stabbing incidents. The 23-year-old man is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Three men remain in Connolly Hospital in Dublin today following the incidents which occurred between 8.30pm and 1am last night.

The nine victims are all aged in their late teens or early 20s and are all male, Gardaí say.

Gardaí say that nobody died as a result of any of the stabbing incidents.

They have appealed for any witnesses to any incidents to contact them at Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
