Poll: Are you planning a summer holiday?

Is it a staycation, an Irish vacation or a trip abroad?

THE LAST WEEK in July and the first week of August have been traditional times to pack the bags and head off on a family vacation.

As we head into holiday season, we were wondering what your plans are?

Tourism boards in Ireland have been encouraging us to check out what our own island has to offer (other than the rain) but economic conditions have led to many just taking days off and relaxing at home with a recession-friendly staycation.

So, what are you thinking? Are you planning a summer holiday?
