Poll: So who do you want to be the next Fine Gael leader / Taoiseach?

It’s game on in the contest to be the next leader of both Fine Gael and Ireland.

ENDA KENNY’S SIX-YEAR term as Fine Gael leader and Taoiseach has finally come to an end.

So now all we can do is look to see who his replacement will be.

After Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald this morning ruled herself out of the running, the popular wisdom now has it that there are only two viable candidates in Simon Coveney and Leo Varadkar.

But Education Minister Richard Bruton may still have something to say about that.

But who would you like to see win out in the coming Fine Gael leadership contest?

We’re asking: Who do you want to be the next Fine Gael leader / Taoiseach?

Poll Results:

Leo Varadkar (8281)
Simon Coveney (7273)
None of the above (4733)
Richard Bruton (1460)
I don't know (969)
All of them (307)
