National Heritage Week kicks off today with over 1,700 events due to take place. Will you be at any of them?

TODAY MARKS THE beginning of National Heritage Week with over 1,700 events due to take place across the country, encouraging people to explore Ireland’s history.

Most of the events are free and range from visits to medieval castles, to wildlife walks and traditional skills demonstrations with over 600,000 people expected to take part over the next eight days.

So, we want to know: Will you be attending any events or visiting any sites this National Heritage Week?
