Poll: Do you think the male contraceptive pill will be popular?

A contraceptive pill for men has moved one step closer, according to Australian researchers.

A CONTRACEPTIVE PILL for men could be on its way, after Australian researchers successfully made male mice infertile.

They were able to block two proteins that are essential for transport of sperm in mice, and want to look at if this can be replicated in men.

The next step is looking at developing an oral male contraceptive drug, which would be taken daily by men just like the female contraceptive pill.

We ask: Do you think the male contraceptive pill will be popular?

Poll Results:

No (3729)
I don't know (2685)
Yes (1541)
