Poll: Should neutrality be enshrined in the Irish Constitution?

The Independent Alliance wants a free vote on a bill proposed by Sinn Féin.

SINN FÉIN HAS proposed a Bill that would see neutrality enshrined in the Irish Constitution.

The Irish Times reports Independent Alliance ministers have sought a free vote on the bill, as both Shane Ross and Finian McGrath previously voted in favour of a similar bill.

However, the Taoiseach has insisted they observe Cabinet responsibility and vote with the government. Leo Varadkar told RTÉ’s Morning Ireland there was a “robust discussion” about it and that the government would reaffirm Ireland’s commitment to neutrality.

We want to know what you think of Sinn Féin’s bill: Should neutrality be enshrined in the Irish Constitution?
