Poll: Would Donald Trump's presidency put you off visiting the US?

The New York tourist board believes it will get less tourists this year because of President Trump’s policies.

SINCE TAKING OFFICE in January, the Trump administration has been a source of controversy for policies such as the travel ban and it is believed that the President may be acting as a deterrent for people to visit the US.

The New York tourism board has said that the city will get around 300,000 fewer tourists this year, a drop it has attributed to the rhetoric and policies of Donald Trump.

Travel search engine Kayak has said that searches from UK citizens looking to go on holiday in the US have “fallen off a cliff”.

And, research from the Global Business Travel Organisation estimated that the US lost out on $185 million in business travel flights amid the uncertainty around the travel ban introduced by President Trump.

So, today we’re asking you: Would Donald Trump’s presidency put you off visiting the US?
