Poll: Which do you want to happen first: the Budget or an election?

Is it more important to have the budget passed first, or to appoint a government with a new mandate?

Although Brian Cowen’s leadership of Fianna Fáil seems secure for now, the prospect of the Budget failing to pass – leading to a general election before another one can be put together – still seems significant. Which would you prefer to have first – a Budget or a General Election?
