As someone who gave up smoking just over one year ago (and that also means I dont smoke joints anymore, but still use my vape or bong) my lungs feel so much better, I can run futher and not end up feeling like in going to have a heart attack.

Smoking cigarettes was the biggest mistake of my life and im so glad I have given up before I did some real damage to myself.

I started smoking when i was 13. i smoked for 13 years. I’m currently off the cigarettes 318 days. I can’t stand the smell of stale smoke from smokers now. My hair and clothes and breath no longer smell bad. I don’t get out of breath as much, I sleep better and feel so much better overall.
I never smoked around non smokers or littered my cigarette butts but I hate being on the beach or park and seeing them all over the ground. Even walking behind someone who’s smoking. Granted when I drink I still crave cigarettes so I would never begrudge someone for being a smoker.

However I do believe that smoking in places where children and non smokers have access to should be banned but I can’t see how this will be policed.

@ Lisa – No sigh required, there’s a huge difference between smoking cannabis mixed with tobacco and smoking or vaporizing it by itself, the latter options obviously being far less damaging to your health.

I agree to an extent. Smoking anything is bad as you take in a load of toxins and various harmful products of incomplete combustion (e.g. carbon monoxide, among others). Nicotine and THC should both be available as pure compounds made to pharmaceutical grade level but neither should be smoked in my opinion.
