I note that your article says that “Iran denies its nuclear programme has a military aspect, insisting on its sovereign right to enrich uranium, saying it is for peaceful civilian purposes only.”
Iran is quite explicit in calling for the elimination of Israel. Therefore I would be quite naive if I believed that it doesnt have a military objective to its nuclear programme. israel is right to be very concerned.
If the Ulster Volunteer Force was calling for the anihilation of the Republic of Ireland and was sponsoring terrorism in the Republic and at the same time was developing a nuclear bomb we would take action to prevent them ever getting a nuclear bomb
