Results consistently show that single sex schools in Ireland send higher percentages of students to third level education than mixed schools. It is in the newspapers every year. From an academic perspective single sex schools have their place.
Now, we could start a whole new thread about abolishing uniforms and see where we go from there….

    @Seeking Truth: Yes indeed they may be sending ‘higher percentages of students to third level education than mixed schools’. Academically force fed and socially backward. The education system in Ireland is controlled from the Vatican and was intended to produce nuns, priests, christian brothers and a docile public. If an organisation has enough power to separate humans by gender, they are in charge.
