It’s no different from traveling from Portugal to Spain or Poland to Lithuania.
Going to a time zone with its centre in western Germany, when we really should be at GMT -1 wouldn’t be good for you. Imagine waking up and it’s still dark at 1030 in the morning!
The USA has 3 timezones, as does Australia.
