Reading most of the comments here confirms that entitlement culture is alive and well . Why does the government have to make people’s lives easier/ better? When I was sick I was treated in a public hospital, as a private patient, still ended up on a trolley after a day of chemo. But they saved my life and that is the bottom line. When I hear that nothing works outside the M50 is complete bollocks, 80% of all manufacturing is done outside the M50, I too live 25 miles outside of Dublin and my internet is 320 down and 32/40 up. Nobody is owed anything in this world if people want to wallow in the perpetual entitlement world your choice….the rest of us will continue on providing for our families, with dignity and kindness. It’s your life do what you want but don’t expect anything for nothing.
