RUSSIA IS NOT happy with the latest election campaign ad from White House hopeful Donald Trump.

The Republican frontrunner in the US presidential nomination race shared the ad on social media yesterday.

It features Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton barking like a dog, and implies she is not capable of dealing with America’s “toughest opponents” Russian President Vladimir Putin and Islamic State.

It also shows clips of Putin tackling an opponent in judo and laughing at Clinton.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Russian government is unhappy with the video.

He said “we regard it negatively” and complained that “the demonisation of Russia and everything connected to Russia is, unfortunately, an obligatory part of an American election campaign”.

Peskov added that he was unsure if Putin has seen the video.

Putin and Trump have complimented each other publicly in recent months.
