Share the love: What's your favourite quick dinner recipe?

We have a secret dinnertime ingredient for you to check out.

COOKING DINNER CAN often be the last thing you want to tackle after a long day at work.

Instagram foodies with their perfectly lit, beautifully presented ‘quick’ meals (that really aren’t quick at all especially when they take more time photographing it then cooking it) have upped the ante when it comes to dinnertime.

But you don’t have to worry – you can rustle up something just as tasty and delicious as those Instagrammers, and in fact, put them to shame.

Your secret ingredient? Eggs.

Eggs are your kitchen’s secret wonder ingredient. They’re almost always lurking in the fridge just waiting  for you to whip them up into a tasty, healthy, quick meal.

The health benefits of eggs are multiple:

  • A good source of protein – to keep you fuller for longer
  • Lots of vitamins A and B
  • Full of selenium – which you need for keeping your metabolism working well
  • Got lots of lutein – which you need to keep your eyes healthy
  • Super versatile and taste great

Omelettes

The most easy way to whip up a filling meal with eggs is to turn to the versatile omelette. You can make so many combinations:

  • ham and cheese
  • cheese and onion
  • potato and goats cheese
  • spinach and mushroom
  • chorizo and tomato

And that’s just to start. Anything you have knocking around your fridge can be turned into a delicious omelette – or frittata if you’re feeling fancy.
