Flat out wrong

This rapper believes the earth is flat

Um….

YOU MAY OR may not remember the rapper B.o.B.

He did songs with Bruno Mars, Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo a few years ago.

His Adventures of Bobby Ray album sold moderately well, but he hasn’t really had a hit since.

Yesterday, however, he revealed what’s occupying his brain space these days. Namely that the earth is flat and any argument to the contrary is a Freemason conspiracy.

Yesterday and today, he has launched into a tirade against Nasa, science and Christopher Columbus.

He then began tweeting a number of photos and graphics as “proof” of his belief.

He had many detractors, but quite a few supporters.

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson tried to educate the Airplanes rapper, but it wasn’t to any avail.

In the end, B.o.B said he was fine and wasn’t on any drugs “stronger than weed”.

A quite wonderful 24 hours in the life of the internet.
