RECRUITMENT FIRM Sigmar has announced it is creating 50 new jobs over the coming year.
Sixteen of the new jobs will be overseas, with the remaining posts spread across Sigmar’s Irish operations.
The company, which has offices in Cavan, Dublin, Galway, Cork, Warsaw and Singapore, says it intends to hire people for 16 of the new recruitment posts within the next few weeks.
Announcing the jobs, Sigmar CEO Adrian McGennis said that demand for recruitment consultations is “very high” across a number of professional areas.
“The consultants in Sigmar have been really busy and even though we have hired 20 graduates in the past six months, we now could take on 16 consultants immediately,” he said.
Sigmar says demand for permanent and contract staff has risen since last year. Demand for interns is also up and has risen sharply over the past year, particularly since the JobBridge scheme began, according to Sigmar.
