Irish restaurant and chef of the year announced...

A best restaurant and chef was selected for each province.

THORNTON’S RESTAURANT IN Dublin has been Awarded the Restaurant of the Year for 2015 by FOOD&WINE Magazine.

While Stephen Toman from Ox, Belfast, was named Chef of the Year.

Thornton’s Restaurant is owned by one of Ireland’s leading chefs Kevin Thornton.

FOOD & WINE said, “Celebrating 25 years in business this year, it continues to be one of the most exciting and innovative dining experiences in the country.”

Stephen Toman of Ox, Belfast, was awarded Chef of the Year for the third consecutive year.

The magazine said, “Stephen is renowned for producing exciting and innovative food for his fine dining menu making him a deserving winner again.”

Ox, Belfast also scooped another award for Best Restaurant Ulster for the second year running.
