This hardware store's 'gay' Christmas ad has left everyone scratching their heads

“We’re Robert Dyas and we’re gay. And straight. And bi…” Wh-what?

SLING YER HOOK, John Lewis. Another shop named after a man has taken your Christmas ad crown.

UK hardware store Robert Dyas uploaded this Christmas ad to YouTube earlier this week – it features various staff members and customers proclaiming themselves as gay, straight, or bisexual, and it’s utterly confusing.

The ad has gone viral on social media with people wondering what the hell is going on. Is it a spoof, or sincere?

But other people cracked it – the ad is very similar to this 2009 parody video by YouTubers Rhett & Link, which did the same thing except with ‘black’ and ‘white’.
