IS IT JUST us, or is the clap louder for Robin Williams as the nominees for the 1998 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor are read out?

The actor had been nominated three times before receiving the deserved accolade for his role as Seán Maguire in Good Will Hunting.

During his speech, when he is visibly joyous, he thanks the movie’s scriptwriters and co-stars, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

“I still want to see some ID,” he jokes, referencing their baby faces and young age (both were still in their 20s at the time).

He had a big hug for them too, before reaching the podium.
