PARTING SHOT

Tommy Ramone — the last surviving original member of The Ramones — has died, it was confirmed today. 

Born Erdelyi Tamas in Budapest in 1949, he was a founding member of the ‘band of brothers’ alongside Johnny, Joey and Dee Dee.

As Tommy Ramone, he played on the band’s first three albums 1976′s Ramones, and 1977′s Leave Home and Rocket to Russia — later returning to work with them as a producer in the 1980s for Too Tough to Die.
